Dr. Meek's tenure as chief administrator lasted 33 years, during which the university grew from a small junior college of 87 students to a four year institution with an enrollment of over 3,100. It was under his tutorship that the university successfully rebounded from the economic difficulties of the Great Depression and the declining enrollments during the period of Second World War. He was also very influential in the construction and development of many of the campus buildings built during the 1950's and 1960's. |

Included in the collection are personal and family correspondence, diaries and daybooks, photographs, artifacts and other items relevant to the life of Dr. Paul Meek. |
