Brief History:
The Holt Humanities Building was completed by the fall of 1968 to fill the campus's drastic need for office and classroom space. The building consists of 65,072 square feet and was designed to have 31 classrooms, 90 offices, a large auditorium-style lecture hall, and psychology and foreign language laboratories. At present, most of the University's liberal arts programs are house in the structure, including the departments of History & Philosophy, English, Modern Foreign Languages, and Mathematics, and the dean of Humanities and Fine Arts.
