Maurine (Strain) Potts is believed to have been a resident of Trenton, Tennessee (Gibson County) during the early and middle parts of the 20th century. Letters from family and friends in western Tennessee are contained in the collection. The bulk of the letters were written during the 1910's and 1920's when Maurine (Strain) Potts was a student at Central Training School. Included are "Class Will of 1915" and a report entitled "The Highway to Womanhood".
