Emma Echols Diary
1883-1885

Emma Echols was believed to be a resident of Senatobia, Mississippi (Tate County). She later enrolled as a student at Blue Mountain Female College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi from 1883 to 1885. The diary consists of the daily accounts of a young lady's activities and adventures in a female college in northern Mississippi during the later part of the 19th century. It includes poetry, newspaper clippings and miscellaneous writings.
