1911
Box 1 of 1
Adam M. Powers & Son was a dry goods store believed to have been founded in Scott's Hill, Tennessee in 1900. It continued to operate until the Great Depression when financial woes led to its closure sometime in the early 1930's. The collection consists of a ledger containing business transactions of a Henderson County dry goods store during the early part of the 20th century. Included are names of purchasers, items purchased, costs and stock inventories.
