Bryan M. Parsons is Assistant Professor of Political Science at The University of Tennessee at Martin. He specializes in American politics, public policy, and political methodology. He teaches courses in political behavior, public policy, research methods, political parties, and executive and legislative politics. His research has been published in Political Behavior, Public Administration Review, and State and Local Government Review. He frequently appears in local media to discuss elections and politics, including WUTM 90.3 FM and The Jackson Sun.
Dr. Parsons earned his Ph.D. in political science at the University of South Carolina in 2010, and earned his B.S. in political science at Appalachian State University in 2005. He is currently serving as the Hardy Graham Professor in the College of Business and Global Affairs until Spring 2015.
