Nell Gullett is a Professor of Finance at The University of Tennessee at Martin where she has taught for more than 25 years. She is the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association Distinguished Service Professor. Dr. Gullett holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She also earned her Doctorate in Business Administration with a major in Finance and minors in Economics and Statistics from the University of Memphis.
Dr. Gullett is a two-time recipient of the UT National Alumni Association Outstanding Teaching Award, and has received numerous college teaching awards as well as awards for research and service. She has 15 journal publications, 8 proceedings publications, and more than 20 research presentations at professional meetings. Her current research interests include the impact of currency exchange rate volatility on common share prices, as well as pedagogical issues in teaching finance.
