Paula Hearn Moore is Associate Professor of Accounting and Business Law at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She teaches federal income tax and law-related classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and utilizes a variety of technological tools to engage students in the learning process. She has successfully incorporated student response systems, video lectures, and electronic database use into her course requirements and has received numerous teaching awards as voted on by her students. Prior to her position at UT Martin, Dr. Moore practiced law with her father in the areas of estate planning, real estate, and tax preparation in her hometown of Greenfield.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from UT Martin in May of 1990, she attended the University of Memphis and received her Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration in May of 1993. In May of 2002, she received her Masters of Accountancy from UT Martin.

Dr. Moore is a frequent speaker to professional and community groups on topics including tax and estate planning.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Greenfield Banking Company and other community and church based organizations. Dr. Moore lives in Greenfield with her family.
