Dean Winters teaches courses in Animal Genetics and Reproduction, and lectures in Nutritional Endocrinology, Agricultural Biotechnology, and Dairy Management. His research in nutritional and reproductive endocrinology has resulted in three patents and numerous publications and presentations around the world. In recent years, he has been interested in the scholarship of learning, and building cultures of innovation and entrepreneurship within the student population. He serves on the National Board of Directors of Non-land-grant Agricultural and Renewable Resources Universities (NARRU) and LEAD21 (Leadership for the 21st Century).
