A Bachelor of Music is designed to give you the training and knowledge you will need to teach or perform as a career. Students who plan to teach music in a studio setting rather than a K-12 setting can choose the music pedagogy emphasis with options in either band and string instruments or piano. These degrees stress private instruction, ensemble participation and supportive music courses.
