The Health Science concentration within the cell and molecular biology major is intended for students with interests in the molecular and cellular aspects of biology. This major explores the mechanisms of life at the molecular level including cells, proteins, and DNA, as well as areas that focus on aspects of human anatomy, physiology, and human biology. This cell and molecular biology major will provide a comprehensive background for students with career interests in health careers, including medicine and biomedical research.
