Explore the past to impact the future with a degree in History.
A major in history builds a solid foundation for careers in law, education, government, politics and other areas. This degree program will deepen your understanding of United States, European and world history and how our current society has been shaped by the events of the past, as well as how our actions today may influence things to come. History majors also have opportunities to participate in travel-studies, internships, independent study and undergraduate research.
““I chose UT Martin because of the homelike atmosphere. Everyone on campus was so friendly and welcoming, and I could tell that the faculty and staff genuinely care about the students and our success here at UT Martin and when we graduate. ”
