The Organismal Biology concentration within the environmental and organismal biology major is intended for students with interests in exploring the biology of organisms, both at the microbiological level and the multicellular organism level. This major is for students who want to tailor their biology degree to best fit their career plans from health science careers to those like zoological conservation, botanical conservation, and/or careers in animal anatomy and physiology. Our environmental and organismal biology major will provide a comprehensive background for students with career interests in animal health, environmental microbiology, animal and plant ecology and conservation, environmental stewardship, and a multitude of other careers within the biological sciences.
