Institution-wide accreditation is governed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the regional accrediting agency governed by the U.S. Department of Education. All SACSCOC member institutions undergo full review of accreditation every ten years and submit a fifth-year interim report between the decennial reviews.
