The Office of Campus Recreation offers a variety of classes, certifications, and services throughout the year. Below are general descriptions of what we offer regularly, registration information, schedules, and calendars. Group Fitness and Class Schedule

Group Fitness strives to provide healthy, effective alternatives to standard workouts. We provide enjoyable classes that encourage participation and educate patrons on the benefits of exercise. We are committed to helping our students win the battle over a sedentary lifestyle. All classes are 45 minutes.

Group Fitness Class Descriptions

MYZONE Party Cycle – Cycling is a great cardio workout on an indoor stationary bike listening to FUN music. It works for beginners as well as for elite athletes because you control the intensity as you cycle flat roads and killer hills.

Yoga Chill–This class will help you focus on your body, mind, and spirit through a series of basic standing and seated poses. Yoga increases flexibility and relieves you from the stresses of the day.

MYZONE Bounce - Get ready for a high adrenaline, low impact, trampoline fitness class that will leave you feeling happy and energized! The tone is set to upbeat, fun music as you work through cardio sequences that will challenge your mind and body.

MYZONE Sculpt - Grab your weights and come get stronger, more toned, and confident. This total body low impact strength workout uses a variety of equipment to build a strong foundation to achieve results.

Faculty/Staff Circuit Class - Functional fitness training is an evergreen trend that enhances balance, coordination, strength, and endurance, leading to improved performance in daily activities. Our Faculty/Staff Circuit Class is designed to meet these needs, providing a dynamic and engaging workout in our functional training areas. This class is tailored to help you build the strength and stamina necessary for everyday tasks, making it an essential part of your fitness routine. Join us to experience the benefits of functional training in a supportive and motivating environment!

*MYZONE is an innovative wearable heart rate-based system that uses wireless and cloud technology to accurately and conveniently monitor physical activity. MYZONE monitors heart rate, calories and time exercising that convert into MYZONE Effort Points (MEPs), with a focus on rewarding effort rather than fitness.

*MYZONE Classes-MYZONE belts may be purchased or checked out for the semester (free of charge and an option to purchase) at the Student Recreation Center Control Desk.

*MYZONE belts are not required to attend the classes.

Private Group Fitness Classes

Want to have a Fitness Class just for you and your friends or with your organization?

All classes on the Group Fitness Schedule can be taught as a private group class. If there is minimal equipment required, we can bring the class to you.

Private Group Fitness Classes for Athletes 

These classes offer athletes an opportunity to improve their posture, power, core strength, coordination, balance and flexibility, which can enhance performance. This is a great way to cross train, prevent injury, and encourage team bonding outside of practice. $40.00 per class
