The Office of Campus Recreation at UT Martin manages the Student Recreation Center and the outdoor fitness trail at Pacer Pond.

Trail Guidelines
- Use at Your Own Risk: All individuals use the fitness trail at their own risk.
- Emergencies: Call 911 for all emergencies.
- Report Suspicious Activity: Contact UT Martin Police at 731-881-7777.
- Stay Alert: Avoid high-volume headsets to remain aware of your surroundings.
- Trail Etiquette:
- Stay to the right; slower walkers and runners should allow space for passing.
- Limit groups to two abreast for ease of passing.
- Lighting: Trail lights stay on until 5:00 a.m.
- Supervision: Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult.
- Prohibited Items: No weapons, alcohol, smoking, or illegal substances.
- Litter-Free Zone: No littering; food and glass containers are not allowed.
- Restricted Equipment: No skateboards, inline skates, or bicycles.
- Personal Belongings: The University is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Pet Policy: Pets must be leashed; please clean up after your pet.

Student Recreation Center
The Student Recreation Center is 96,000 square feet and offers various spaces, including classrooms, fitness rooms, and a four-court gym, all designed to promote student engagement.
Lobby
As you enter the facility, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting lobby, complete with comfortable seating, tables, chairs, and a live TV. You'll check in at the control desk and gain access to the building through the turnstiles using your membership.
Leisure Rec
All items are available for checkout at the control desk, including:
- 2 pool tables
- 1 game table
- 4 ping pong tables
- Games such as chess, Jenga, and Connect Four
Fitness Center
- 65 plus cardio machines ranging from treadmills, bikes, stair climbers, rowing machines, and more.
- 12,000 plus pounds of dumbbells
- Hammer strength machines
- The cardio mezzanine located on the second floor gives you a designated space for cardio workouts with a view.
- 5 powerlifting platform
- 3 adjustable powerlifting free weight benches

Racquetball Hallway
- 2 racquetball courts that can also be used as multipurpose spaces for activities like volleyball, dance team practice, and more
- A golf simulator room featuring a putting green and computer-generated simulator allows you to keep your game sharp regardless of the weather.
Locker Room Hallway
- Men's and Women's locker rooms
- Equipped with showers and changing areas
- Rentable lockers
- Full-length mirror and scale for your use
Gym
- 4 full-size courts lined with volleyball and basketball
- 1Court is designated for pickleball, featuring three courts
- Adjustable court curtains to divide the space for special events.
- Glass wall dividing two south courts and two north courts.
- Above the gym is an 8th-of-a-mile track featuring three lanes.
- Attached to the upper track is a designated space with additions of free weights to encourage full-body workouts utilizing the track space.
- Convenient cubbies are in the corners for storage of your belongings.
Group Fitness Hallway: located on the second floor
- Classroom: This space seats 40 participants, with tables facing a computer screen. It is great for presentations or Zoom meetings. Student organizations or clubs can rent this room.
- The Party Cycle Suite is a blacked-out room that houses 27 stationary cycles. This party-like atmosphere has neon party lights and a great speaker system, creating a fun yet intense atmosphere for all party cycle classes. When classes are not being hosted, hop on a bike and cycle at your own pace.
- Group Fitness Room: This fitness room features a full-length mirror with great natural light, creating the perfect atmosphere for early morning sculpt classes or evening sun-setting yoga. Free weights and cubbies line the walls, allowing for great personal storage and weights to increase the intensity of your workout. When classes are not being hosted, feel free to use this space for your own personal workout.
Flight Deck
- This area has TRX Ropes, Battle Ropes, Kettlebells, dumbells, benches, and a matted area for Ab work on the second floor of the SRC on the track.
