Welcome to Fraternity and Sorority Life!
Being a part of the fraternity and sorority community at UT Martin gives students the opportunity to build relationships, develop their passions, strengthen their commitment to service, and provide a framework of shared values. Our emphasis is on sisterhood/brotherhood, service, and scholarship both in and out of the classroom.
The benefits to you during time as a student (and beyond!) are immense, including helping you build a community and find support; provide you opportunities to network of alumni and other members of the community; and social activities to help provide you with fun and engaging ways to meet people and develop lasting relationships. Other benefits are opportunities to discover philanthropy and service causes where you can be a positive influence in your community. There is also plenty of opportunities for cultural and social enrichment, exposing you to diverse experiences and perspectives which will help you as you explore life after graduation. develop yourself as a leader; social activities; philanthropy and community service; academic support; cultural and social enrichment; tradition and ritual; and personal growth. You also will experience personal growth by helping you develop a stronger sense of self, improve your interpersonal skills, and learn that all important balance between fun and responsibilities.
