This program emphasizes basic and applied sciences, plant and animal ecology, and communication skills required to be a wildlife professional. You will learn about challenges facing wildlife around the world, tools and techniques for protecting and managing wildlife and their habitats, and cultural and ethical issues associated with wildlife management. Program graduates are qualified to be certified by The Wildlife Society as Associate Wildlife Biologists. Field experience is a major component of this program.
